magination turns into reality; reality turns into imagination. Reality changes over a period of time on a Human life scale, but it seems constant, and so we call it reality but is it an imagination, a simulation, or a memory? On a geographical time scale, dinosaurs were a reality and now they are imagination. Terraforming Mars is an imagination today, but it can be or will be a reality.

Imagination Needs Structure

Imagination needs structure the more intense the imagination, the more structure it needs. Is this structure external? No, it is an internal thing. If you imagine something, you cannot get anything out of it unless you structure it, and no one else can do it for you, unless there is someone who can truly guide you.

So the feminine and the masculine co-exist. One cannot exist without the other. These aspects are within you. If both are balanced, that is what truly being a Human is. If one is more than the other, we end up with a skewed view of the world. Why do people marry to balance each other's opposite aspects? Or to show each other what is missing in their lesser-grown aspect, and inspire them to work fully on it, so they become complete Human beings in themselves? It is a process one continually refines the other, until you reach a point where you see humans as life only, rather than bodies or subjects to exploit.

Why Reality Feels Fixed

Being human is about growing your other aspect in a balanced way, while staying mutable enough to draw on whichever aspect a situation calls for. But we fix a certain personality, and so our situations become fixed too and that is what we call reality.

"Reality is constantly changing. Change is only reality this change can be conscious or unconscious. The unconscious change makes us live our past patterns, but a conscious one makes the true imagination, independent of the past, a reality."

Two Things This Points To

This is the inquiry at the heart of the Raise Perception initiative — and of Augmented Perception, where we're exploring how a Brain-VR interface might help give structure to imagination as consciously chosen experience.
